The Influence Of Failure Intensity On Subsequent Re-entrepreneurial Intention

Based on reading,combing and summary the existing literature,it is believed that the re-entrepreneurial intention is the subjective attitude of people who have failed to start their own business and continue to start a business later.The failure intensity is a reflection of the strength suffered by the entrepreneur in his failure,has three dimensions,namely,the failure of the novelty,the failure of interference and the failure of criticality,will affect the re-entrepreneurial intention.At the same time,the re-entrepreneurship risk perception may play a regulatory role between the failure intensity and re-entrepreneurial intention.Therefore,this paper focuses on two problems:First,how does failure intensity,namely,failure novelty,failure interference and failure criticality affect the re-entrepreneurial intention?Second,what moderating effect does re-entrepreneurial risk perception play on the relationship between failre intensity,namely,failure novelty,failure interference,failure criticality and re-entrepreneurial intention?In order to solve these two problems,this paper proposed six related hypothese,obtained data through questionnaires,analyzed and processed the collected data with SPSS17.0,and then verified the hypotheses in this paper.Conclusion:(1)there is a significant negative correlation between failure novelty,failure interference,failure criticality and re-entrepreneurial intention.(2)The re-entrepreneurship risk perception weakens the negative correlation between the novelty,interference,criticality and re-entrepreneurship intention,but this result is contrary to the expected hypothesis.This paper gives a reasonable explanation of this unexpected result from the comprehensive perspective of risk perception and willingness to take risks as well as the attribution of entrepreneurial failure.Finally,this paper summarizes the research results,puts forward the corresponding Suggestions,analyzes the limitations of this research,and points out the future research concerns.
