With the development of information development and reorganization, the scale of cross-border e-commerce transactions has increased by more than 30%,which has become the development direction of future cross-border trade. The B2C cross-border e-commerce model has become a new target for small and medium-sized retail enterprises in China. With the booming development of third-party platforms for international e-commerce,in order to open up new development channels, many traditional foreign trade export companies have settled in mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms.Cross-border e-commerce is an important breakthrough in the transformation of China's manufacturing industry. In addition to the intelligent upgrade of products to meet the 2025 national strategy, the internationalization and brand development of Chinese-made products is also difficult. As a window for the country's reform and opening up,many small and medium-sized enterprises in the Greater Bay Area are brave enough to expand their markets overseas, but they also often encounter problems caused by insufficient experience. When choosing a cross-border e-commerce platform, there is no uniform standard to judge whether the platform is good or bad. Many companies will blindly follow the trend in the absence of analysis of themselves, thereby wasting corporate resources.Based on the literature review at home and abroad, this paper selects Foshan D Clothing Cross-border E-commerce Company as the case study object of this article, and discusses the issue of D company selecting a third-party cross-border e-commerce platform.Combined with my internship experience in Company D,and in-depth communication with company employees,I try to solve the business problems that Company D eventually faces. For example, company D's products are currently facing the Red Sea market, and clothing is the second product category for cross-border e-commerce exports.Similar sellers in overseas markets are becoming increasingly fierce.Company D is facing the problem of "open source and reduce expenditure".With regard to the positioning of Company D's overseas market, the United States accounts for 60%of Company D's sales market, but at the same time, the United States is also the primary destination for Chinese cross-border e-commerce exports.Well, this type of small and medium-sized enterprises has already faced pressure on the choice of operating platform and also faced the challenge of international market competition. How to make the best choice is a question to the company's operators.Reduce transaction costs, choose marketing strategies, and open up more overseas markets.Under actual needs,Amazon,AliExpress,eBay,and other four e-commerce platforms are analyzed from five indicators, including platform characteristics, platform traffic, platform cost, platform services, platform customer groups, and platform information quality..Consulting research on how Company D overcomes cross-border e-commerce to explore overseas markets, hoping to make reasonable suggestions for the development prospects of this type of enterprise. It is hoped that SMEs can choose a market suitable for their product audience according to their own characteristics, and choose a suitable cross-border e-commerce platform as a channel for market development.
