Study On The Organic Connection Between Small Farmers And Modern Agriculture Under The Rural RevitalizationStrategy

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the "Rural Revitalization Strategy" to accelerate the modernization of agriculture and rural areas.Among them,special emphasis is placed on "realizing the organic connection between small farmers and modern agricultural development." As the main agricultural management subject in China,the traditional small farmers taking family as unit face a series of problems such as high production cost,high risk,asymmetric information acquisition,low degree of cooperation,weak market competitiveness and so on.How to realize the agricultural modernization of small farmers is an urgent theoretical and practical issue.Therefore,to promote the integration of small farmers into modern agriculture,to enhance the ability of small farmers to connect to the market,and to improve the degree of organization of small farmers are the objective requirements for the organic integration of small farmers and modern agriculture in the rural revitalization strategy.The Jianghan Plain is an important grain production base in China,known as the granary of Hubei Province.This paper takes farmers in jianghan plain as the research object.Through the first-hand data obtained from field investigation,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation and existing problems of small farmers and scale farmers in Jianghan Plain,and makes an in-depth study of the relationship between management scale and production efficiency of farmers of different scales.this paper comprehensively discusses the various factors that affect the management scale of farmers,so as to understand the problem of which agricultural production efficiency is higher between small farmers and scale farmers.At the same time,the three-stage DEA was used to conduct quantitative analysis of small farmers and scale farmers in jianghan plain,and it was concluded that environmental and stochastic factors had significant effects on agricultural production efficiency.Among the environmental factors,the per capita disposable income and agricultural informatization are the favorable factors to improve the efficiency of agricultural production;the financial support for agriculture and the per capita years of education have not played their due role in the efficiency of agricultural production.Therefore,we should reasonably guide farmers to use the funds to support agriculture,reduce blind investment and avoid redundant investment.At the end of this article,according to the survey results and analysis,put forward relevant policy recommendations for organic connection between small farmers and modern agriculture,So that small farmers can effectively connect to the market and adapt to thedevelopment trend of agricultural modernization has practical guiding significance.This research is mainly divided into the following six parts:The first part is an introduction.On the basis of analyzing the background significance of the research and the current status of research at home and abroad,it combs the relevant research literature at home and abroad,and introduces the main research content and methods,innovations and deficiencies of the article.The second part is the definition of the concept and theoretical analysis.This part defines the concepts of "small farmer" and "modern agriculture",introduces the theory of "farmer behavior theory","transaction cost theory" and "scale economy theory",and constructs the theoretical basis of this article.The third and the fourth part analyzed and summarized the general situation of small farmers' operation and the current situation of small farmers' agricultural production in Jianghan Plain,explained the necessity,rationality and long-term of the existence of small farmers,and analyzed the dilemma of the organic connection between small farmers and modern agricultural development from the theoretical level.The fifth part is an empirical analysis of the production efficiency of small farmers and large-scale farmers in the Jianghan Plain.The empirical research conclusion is obtained through the empirical analysis and test of the three-stage DEA model on the survey data.The sixth part is the research conclusions and countermeasures.Based on the conclusions of the empirical analysis and the survey results,corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed on how to improve the agricultural production efficiency of small farmers and promote the organic connection between small farmers and modern agriculture.
