Research On Chinese Agricultural Value Chain From The Perspective Of Global Value Chain

In the current changeable international situation,trade is full of uncertainty,as the trade risk of bulk agricultural products is increasing.In the context of globalization,China has integrated into the globalization process with the image of a "world processing factory",embedded in the global value chain,and the degree of participation in the global value chain has been deepened and improved in recent years.China's agriculture,like other industrial sectors,has participated in the global agricultural value chain,but the status and degree of China's participation in global agricultural value is relatively weak.China's agriculture,trade and consumption sectors are dominant in terms of quantity,but China is not a real strong country in these fields.Overall,the current input-output ratio of agricultural units in China is still low,the proportion of high-quality agricultural products is small,and the effective agricultural supply is insufficient.In recent years,the pressure of extreme weather on China's agricultural output has been further intensified.President Xi stressed that Chinese people should keep their own food in their bowls and ensure the effective and safe supply of food.Rural Revitalization Strategy is a long-term national policy for China to narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,promote integrated development and achieve common prosperity.Although China's agricultural output value accounts for only 7 percent of GDP and continues to decline,agriculture has irreplaceable characteristics,which is of great significance to the country's stable development.Industrial prosperity is the precursor and foundation of rural revitalization,while agricultural leading industry is the key.It is the key to promote the optimal layout of China's leading agricultural industry scientifically and effectively in combination with local conditions.What's more,it is also key to guide the upgrading of China's agricultural value chain and dominates the global agricultural value chain.According to the research needs,this paper is divided into six parts.First of all,this paper studied the existing value chain issues,combined with the characteristics of agriculture,compared with other industries' value chain analysis ideas and methods,looking for ideas,frameworks and research methods for studying agricultural value chain.Secondly,the theories and methods related to the agricultural value chain were extracted from the literature and data.The content and framework of this study was presented after a brief review of the theoretical basis and research methods of the existing research..The third part is database construction.The input-output model and the input-output table are effective model methods for studying economic operation.The original models and databases for value chain research mainly come from this.The input-output tables of the agricultural sector in the input-output tables at all levels have only large departments,and there is no more detailed input-output table database for reference.Therefore,it is a basic,important and arduous work in this study to the construct the input-output table of the domestic multi-region subdivision agricultural sector.Data collection,processing and merging,unified caliber,division,and reasonable assumptions are the main work and difficulties in this paper.The fourth part is the accounting and analysis of China's agricultural value chain.This part used the data of China's multi regional agricultural input-output table to calculate the domestic agricultural value chain between provinces and cities.Combined with the accounting results,this paper analyzes the location,length,industrial association and influence,vertical specialization of agricultural value chain in each province,district and city.The fifth part is based on the analysis of agricultural leading industry selection and agricultural industry upgrading of agricultural value chain.The optimization of agricultural leading industry is based on the calculation of traditional leading industry indexes and the distribution of value chains.The construction of domestic agricultural value chain system,takes advantage leading agricultural industries as a breakthrough.The establishment of agricultural value chain among domestic provinces,regions,and cities in China should give prominence to comparative advantages,promote d the rise of domestic agricultural value chain with quality,and enhance the development of high-quality agricultural industries.To achieve the goal of moving from the high-end of the domestic agricultural value chain to the high-end of the global agricultural value chain.,we need to rely on the vertical and specialized division of labor in domestic agriculture,as well as scientific and technological progress to promote the improvement of agricultural production efficiency.According to the research conclusion,the last part put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.
