Impact Of Resources Bricolage On Innovation Performance

With the development of economic globalization,the international environment is becoming more and more fierce,and innovation has become the key to competition between countries and the inexhaustible source and driving force for enterprises to gain competitive advantage.Resources are an indispensable element of an enterprise's innovation activities.However,whether it is in the initial stage or in the development process,the company will encounter a shortage of resources,which will have a direct and important impact on the enterprise.Therefore,under the urgent needs of China's current construction of an innovative country,it is of great significance to develop innovative enterprises and propose solutions and solutions for the resource constraints they face.Resources bricolage is an effective way to solve resource constraints and has attracted widespread attention from scholars.Resources bricolage means that an enterprise copes with the challenge as quickly as possible by creatively combining and utilizing the existing resources when faced with resource difficulties.At present,the research on resources bricolage is in the ascendant,its academic value and practical significance are worthy of further discussion.The impact of resources bricolage is uncertain for the innovation,for there are both promotion and inhibition effects,which may be related to the lack of the classification for resources bricolage.And the resources bricolage needs to take into account the contextual factors of environmental dynamics.Therefore,in this paper,after literature review and theoretical analysis,referring to the theory of organizational ambidexterity,we classify the resources bricolage as exploitation resources bricolage and exploratory resources bricolage,and apply the method of exploratory case study to analyze the role of resources bricolage in the process of enterprise innovation.On this basis,this paper analyzes the impact of different types of resources bricolage on the innovation performance of enterprises,and investigates the moderation effect of environmental dynamics,and puts forward a research hypothesis of variables,and constructs the theoretical model,then conducts an empirical analysis on the practice data of Chinese enterprise innovation.The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between exploitation resources bricolage and innovation performance,maintaining a moderate exploratory resources bricolage is more conducive to the improvement of enterprise innovation performance,environmental dynamics negatively regulates the relationship between exploitation resources bricolage and innovation performance but positively regulates the relationship between exploratory resources bricolage and innovation performance.The conclusions of the study deepen and expand the theory of resources bricolage and innovation,and help enterprises to solve resource constraints through resources bricolage when considering the dynamics changes in the environment,which is of great practical significance for improving enterprise innovation ability and competitiveness.
