Enterprise cost management is very important for enterprises to improve their competitiveness. At the same time, cost management has also become a focus of research in academia.Traditional cost behavior theory has always believed that the cost of an enterprise changes symmetrically with changes in sales volume. The proposal of cost stickiness has broken this understanding. The factors affecting cost stickiness are more complicated, but the agency problem is the main reason for this. The issue of earnings management is an important manifestation of the agency problem.Earnings management behaviors of management are common in enterprises, and because of the existence of biological assets and other reasons, there are more opportunities for earnings management in agricultural enterprises. Therefore, agricultural listed companies are selected. As research target. The behavior of managers can cause biased fluctuations in corporate costs.Studying the law of cost changes from the perspective of earnings management will help analyze the law of the increase and decrease of corporate costs, and will help strengthen management's correct understanding of business performance.Improve the enterprise's risk prevention capabilities and the accuracy of cost decisions.Based on the theory of principal-agent theory and incomplete contract theory, this paper selects the data of China's A-share agricultural listed companies from 2007 to 2018 as the research sample for empirical research. The Jones model and the real earnings management model were used to perform quantitative analysis for the calculated earnings management and real earnings management. The ABJ model was used as the basic model for regression analysis. The existence of cost stickiness of the sample enterprises was studied, and the ABJ model was analyzed according to the characteristics of agricultural enterprises. It is improved, and the effect of earnings management behavior on the cost stickiness of enterprises is verified by using the improved model. The results of empirical research show that there are significant accrual earnings management behaviors and real earnings management behaviors in listed agricultural companies in China;in listed agricultural companies, the increase in cost when the sales volume increases is greater than the reduction in cost when the sales volumedecreases by the same amount, that is,Significant cost stickiness issues;managers' opportunity to reverse losses weakens the cost stickiness of agricultural listed companies;managers with a "big shower" motive will increase the cost stickiness of agricultural listed companies;but managers' small profit opportunities The effect on cost stickiness has not obtained significant results in regression analysis. In this empirical study,it is not possible to prove the effect of low profit motive on the cost stickiness of agricultural listed companies;the real earnings management of the company has a negative correlation with cost stickiness, that is,the real activities in the enterprise Increased earnings management behavior will weaken the cost stickiness of enterprises.
