Study On Income Characteristics And Sustainable Poverty Alleviation And Income Growth Strategies Of Households In The Southwest Mountainous Areas

In order to strengthen the self-development ability of households in poor areas and help them to get rich,China has implemented the policy of precision poverty alleviation.Whether it is absolute poverty that fails to maintain basic physical functions,relative poverty that fails to reach the average standard of living,or the deprivation of human ability,it is necessary to examine poverty from the perspective of income in the definition of"poverty".Guizhou Province is located in the southwest region.As one of the poorest provinces in China,the poverty problem of farmers is very prominent.Its unique landform and geographical environment have caused the province's economic development level to lag behind the national average.In the future development of mountainous areas in the southwest,whether it is "precision poverty alleviation" or in order to narrow the gap between urban and rural development,promoting the growth of farmers' income is still the core of government departments at all levels.Therefore,the article selecting Guizhou province as the observation area and based on the real survey data of 4054 households with files and cards,including 783 poor households and 3271 households shaking off poverty.The article adopted qualitative and quantitative analysis methods to study the income structure of households in southwest mountainous,and analyze the factors of restricting the income growth,in order to explore a sustainable path out of poverty that essentially promotes the income growth of households in poor areas.The results of the study show that,the income structure of farmers in impoverished mountain areas is unreasonable;the proportion of farmers'operating income is insufficient and there is more increasing room for property income;households have many differences in the components of wage income and transfer income and the transferable income of poor households accounts for too much of the total income.Based on this,deeply analyze the influencing factors that restrict the increase of farmers' income.Further research on the use of Logistic models found that the income index of the households' economic status is significant and it has a good effect on the poverty alleviation of households.It is a key factor affecting the poverty alleviation of households.Therefore,from the perspective of income structure,put forward suggestions to promote the sustainable development of households:steadily increasing operating income;strengthening the leading role of wage income;improving property income and optimizing the structure of transfer expenses on poverty alleviation and so on.These methods ensure the income stability of households in poor areas while increasing their income,and promote the construction of a long-term mechanism for poverty alleviation and help households to achieve poverty alleviation and get rich.
