A Study On Supply Chain Strategy Adjusment For W Multinational Pharmaceutical Company Under The Reform Of Drug Registration Mianagement

Drug is significantly different from general commodities in terms of drug safety,quality requirements,professional timeliness and public concern,therefore,all aspects of drug management are constrained and influenced by relevant policies,laws and regulations.The State Council issued the opinions on reforming the review and approval system of drug and medical devices in 2015,under the guidance of this opinion,the State Food and Drug Administration organized the revision of the Drug Product Registration Management Measures,drafted the revised draft,and solicited opinions from the society at the same time,which opened the prelude to the reform of drug registration management in China.Up to now,the pace of reform has not stopped,but has been deepened.At present,the W multinational pharmaceutical company(W company)is carrying out drug registration for product local manufacturing.Due to the impact of national drug registration management reform,W company has encountered new problems and challenges in supply chain.In this context,through a detailed analysis of the causes of W company's supply chain problems and the situation of W company's supply chain,meantime combined with the process and development of the reform of national drug registration management,this paper makes a deep study on the strategy related to the supply chain of W company and raises proposals of the strategy adjustment.it is concluded that the adjustment of supply chain strategy,such as actively promoting the "intelligent"process of supply chain,giving priority to the development of local suppliers,accelerating the registration of advantageous products,actively introducing new products,accelerating the establishment and improvement of S&OP system,and broadening the development of localization can help W company to improve the level of supply chain,actively respond to challenges and reduce the supply chain impact.The analysis and research in this paper is not only conducive to the adjustment of supply chain strategy and effectively response to challenges for W company,but also provides basis and reference for other multinational pharmaceutical companies and the ones that are or will be carrying out drug registration on how to actively adjust supply chain strategy,resist external risks,reduce impact and ensure product supply under the reform of national drug registration management.
