Research On VMI Implementation Scheme Of G Pharmaceutical Company In China

By 2018,the state will implement the "two-invoice system" for drug purchase in public medical institutions nationwide.As a result,the supply chain structure and market structure of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry in the field of prescription drugs or OTC drugs are changing significantly.At the same time,based on the development of computer science,big data use and Internet software and hardware,it will provide more imaginary space and application conditions for VMI based on data sharing.Under these new backgrounds,in the supply chain of the circulation field of China’s non prescription drug industry,the supplier and distributor,as the key element in the supply chain,can apply the VMI method in combination with its own conditions and industry characteristics to bring about new benefits to the participants in the supply chain.This problem poses new challenges and challenges for contemporary pharmaceutical workers and management researchers.Based on the new background and conditions mentioned above,this paper first summarizes the development situation of supply chain management and the application of VMI in the pharmaceutical industry in recent years,and reviews the development of relevant theories and applications to find the gap in current application research.Secondly,the core concepts involved in this study are introduced,including supply chain management,inventory management and VMI mode.Thirdly,the current situation of supply chain management in the field of non prescription drugs in China is summarized.From the dimensions of specific enterprises,the basic overview of the representative G Company in the field of OTC drugs in China and the specific problems of supply chain management are introduced.By using the method of empirical analysis,a very prominent phenomenon in all supply chain management problems of G Company is summarized,not only when the supply and demand of a certain kind of drug changes,the product value chain of the drug will also fluctuate,and its existing solutions are introduced.Then,using the method of exploratory research,this paper studies the solution of the supply chain inventory management of G company by VMI model,which is based on the inherent logic of the foregoing phenomenon,set a series of key parameters,design and evaluate the specific schemeof the implementation of VMI by G company,and provide a set of new situation for the non prescription drug enterprises in the new situation.The implementation of VMI and evaluation plan should be carried out in the next stage.The innovations and contributions of this paper are as follows:(1)It has made up some of the shortcomings of VMI research in the field of non prescription drugs in the previous domestic pharmaceutical industry,both: not combining the policy changes of the new "two-invoice system" and the influence of information technology development on the supply chain of the pharmaceutical industry;there is no supply chain in the field of non prescription drugs.Participants mainly indicate what kind of enterprises and products are suitable for the implementation of VMI inventory management mode.(2)The influence of the "two-invoice system" and information sharing new changes and new conditions on the participants in the supply chain of the non prescription drug field in the pharmaceutical industry was analyzed.On this basis,a set of feasible scheme design,implementation steps and complete implementation evaluation method for the application of VMI in the supply chain of G Company in the non prescription drug field were provided.(3)Through the VMI implementation of this company,which has a strong industry representation,it may enlighten and help other enterprises with similar similarities in the industry.(4)For the follow-up study,this paper considers that the overall benefit of the supply chain can be studied and analyzed from the perspective of "classic newsboy model" or mathematical model,or based on different states.
