Problems And Improving Strategies Of Food Safety Supervision In Wuzhong District,Suzhou

Food safety has aroused huge concern in our society since“Sanlu milk powder incident",which leads to the birth of the first food safety law.The food safety law has gone through several amendments and the food safety supervision has improved as the progress of state institutions.Since 2015,local market regulation authorities have been established across the country.There is also integration of food safety duties among industrial and commercial administration,quality supervision,food and drug supervision.The basic food supervision framework and system for food supervision,production,circulation and catering services has been formed.These reforms have demonstrated that the state movement has paid great attention to the food safety supervision.However,the overall food safety supervision environment is still not optimistic so far.Food safety incidents constantly appear on media and public discussion.The market supervision authorities are powerless sometimes because institution reform,personnel enhancement and equipment cannot catch up with the development of information technology.This article is based on research on how market regulation authority should execute food safety supervision under new situation.By using methods such as literature research and survey research,start with the definition of food safety and food safety supervision,utilize cooperative governance theory,government regulation theory and delegation agency theory to analyze the performance of food safety supervision carried out by market supervision authority at Suzhou Wuzhong district.Firstly,to summarize the basis duties,food safety supervision measures,the achievements and experiences based on the current situation of food safety supervision work.Secondly,to analyse the issues and their causes during current food safety supervision work,finally,to explore new ways of food safety supervision and come up with feasible tactics for current food supervision dilemma.It is believed that improvement and optimization is required for regulation system,personnel enhancement and implementation of information technology,meanwhile government departments need to provide guidance and co-govern food safety with the society.
