Under the background of knowledge economy,the sustainable development of enterprises depends more and more on their effective knowledge management.In many knowledge management dilemmas,knowledge hiding is an unavoidable phenomenon.Although enterprises take many measures and actions to promote the sharing of knowledge and the interaction of information within enterprises,the effect is unsatisfactory.Even if employees are rewarded or encouraged,they are still unwilling to transfer or share knowledge.Existing studies have shown that knowledge hiding is widely existed in all kinds of enterprises.As an important antecedent variable of knowledge hiding,leadership style is closely related to knowledge hiding,and the relevant mechanism of leadership style and knowledge hiding has also been discussed by scholars.As one of the commonly concerned leadership styles,authorized leadership not only encourages employees to self-manage and delegate power and responsibility,but also gives them work pressure and role pressure,and triggers their work tension and negative emotions,which may induce knowledge hiding behavior.In view of this,based on the theory of authorized Leadership,Psychological Ownership theory,Knowledge theory to hide the authorization Leadership(Empowering Leadership),Psychological Ownership of Knowledge(Knowledge Psychological Ownership)and hidden Knowledge(Knowledge Hiding)theoretical model,tries to reveal authorized Leadership influence Knowledge hidden "black box",by introducing the Knowledge of Psychological Ownership as a intervening variable,This paper explores the functional path between authorized leadership and knowledge hiding,and introduces the power distance as a moderating variable to further explore the boundary conditions under which authorized leadership influences knowledge hiding.In this study,295 employees survey data as sample,using confirmatory factor analysis,structural equation model,structural equation model,repeated sampling method(such as the Bootstrap)statistical analysis technology to test in this paper,the research hypothesis,and draw the following conclusions:(1).The authorization type led has a significant positive influence on employee knowledge hidden behavior;(2).Empowered leadership has a significant positive impact on employees' psychological ownership of knowledge;(3).Employees' psychological ownership of knowledge can significantly and positively affect their own knowledge hiding behavior;(4).The psychological ownership of employees' knowledge plays an intermediary role in the process of authorized leadership's influence on employees' knowledge hiding behavior;(5).Power distance negative regulation authorized the relationship between the leadership and staff knowledge hidden behavior,namely when the staff own higher power distance orientation,leadership is authorized to employees knowledge hidden behavior positive influence will be weakened,when staff own power distance orientation is low,authorized leadership on employee knowledge hidden behavior of positive influence will be strengthened.
