Corporate Social Responsibility View Wavlax Biotechnology Company Financial Performance Evaluation Study

Although the relationship between CSR and financial performance has been studied for a long time,some achievements have been made.However,there is still a lot of room for exploration in this research field in China.In recent years,the frequent occurrence of safety problems in the food and vaccine industries has made the public pay more attention to the performance of corporate social responsibility.In 2018,the fake vaccine incident of Changshengchangchun biological company was exposed and had a bad impact.The occurrence of the fake vaccine incident seriously threatened the life and health,and was also questioned by the public,which raised questions about whether the vaccine companies could fulfill their social responsibilities.The industry is plagued by fake vaccines,which cause irreparable harm to consumers and hinder the entire industry's economic development.Vaccine industry is a special industry,it has its own uniqueness,and life is closely related to the health and safety,in many listed vaccine in the company's business strategy,corporate social responsibility as an integral part of,announced its social responsibility report,positive social responsibility,will be influenced by the supervision of the public.In this paper,Walvax Biotechnology Company was selected as the research case,because its holding subsidiary Shandong Shijie Biotechnology Company was involved in an illegal case,namely the Shandong illegal vaccine incident exposed in 2016,which had a very bad impact at that time and a very big impact on Watson biological company.Due to the lack of social responsibility,its financial performance was affected.Therefore,this company is selected as the research object of this paper.Through the research method of combining theories with cases,the research in this paper is not only of theoretical significance but also of practical significance.In terms of the construction of the evaluation system,this paper firstly uses the stakeholder theory to select the responsibilities of shareholders,creditors,employees,consumers,government and society as the first-level evaluation indicators.According to the first-level indicators,13 relevant financial indicators were selected as second-level indicators to construct the financial performance evaluation system from the perspective of corporate social responsibility.Then,by using entropy weight method and grey correlation analysis,the evaluation model of corporate social responsibility of Walvax Biotechnology Company is established.Using the constructed evaluation system and model,the financial data of Walvax Biotechnology Company in the 6 years from 2013 to 2018 were used as the evaluation index,and the correlation degree of the data performance of Walvax Biotechnology Company in the 6 years was obtained by using the gray correlation.The evaluation results were ranked,and the best results in 2018 and the worst results in 2014 were obtained,ranking 2018,2013,2016,2015,2017 and 2014 in the order of the largest to the smallest.Then the author analyzes the change trend of the financial indicators selected in the past 6 years,and puts forward some optimization suggestions,such as protecting the rights and interests of consumers,improving the financial status of enterprises and strengthening the supervision of the government.
