As the frontier of urban extension,urban fringe land is the area with land use that having the most dramatic and most contradictory change.Study on urban fringe land use and deeply understand the characteristics and trends of the marginal zone land use and is of great significance to promote the rational use of urban land and the healthy development of urbanization.On the basis of literature reading and from two aspects of layout mode and the function layout,this study summarizes land use pattern of urban fringe land and discusses the typical characteristics of land use of of urban fringe land.It takes Xuzhou Tongshan district as demonstration area to use GIS spatial analysis and landscape index measure to analyze characteristics of land use change and spatial pattern,and conduct suitability evaluation on agricultural land and construction land.On this basis,the land use functional zoning index system is constructed to divide Tongshan district into several different functional zones.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The land use of the urban fringe is mainly in the form of the two large layout patterns of circles and groups;The functional layout mainly includes Manufacturing agglomeration zone in suburb,Transportation and logistics area,Rebam,Scientific cultural and educational area,Urban agricultural circle,Ecological security and service area and New town and satellite town;The characteristics of land use are characterized by high diversity,frequent use change,and the high intensive property of agricultural land and the low intensity of construction land,and also the suitability and constraints of construction land exist at the same time.(2)On the change of land use,the conversion of various land types in tongshan district is more frequent.The degree of land use is increasing,and the characteristics of cross distribution between high value area and low value area are shown.In view of spatial pattern,that town in the southeast and the northwest show the low land use diversity,the degree of fragmentation is low,and the plaque is relatively regular;theland use diversity of the villages in the western and northeast is high,and the shape of plaque is complex and the degree of fragmentation is high.(3)Suitability evaluation results show that the quotation area of agricultural land and construction land suitability are showed obvious regional differences,most suitable concentration distribution of agricultural land in the north and southeast of villages and towns,the construction land is regarded in circular distribution around in the city center.(4)Functional zoning of land use results show that the tongshan distric are divided into six functional zoning of land use,urban functions respectively expanding area,north satellite towns township,south industrial development zone,land resource reserves,agricultural ecological conservation development area and periphery safeguard zone.According to the characteristics of each functional partition of land use,we present the development direction and control proposals for future land use.
