Research On The Urban Network Of The Yangtze River Delta Based On The Organizational Network And Investment Network Of Listed Manufacturing Enterprises

Listed manufacturing enterprises are not only an important carrier for the allocation of capital,technology,talents and other essential resources,but also a sensitive antenna for market changes and a barometer of national economic and social development.The enterprise network formed by the cross-regional distribution of listed manufacturing enterprises has become the key driving force for shaping the urban network.Based on the research on the evolution of the manufacturing network structure,not only can we grasp the evolution law of the urban network structure and analyze its future development trend,but also can we have a comprehensive view on the evolution characteristics of regional integration.At present,scholars have explored the mutual influence and spatial correlation between cities from the perspective of manufacturing enterprises,but the research on urban network based on the organizational network and investment network of listed manufacturing enterprises is relatively few.Based on the research data of the headquarters and branches of 2,581 listed enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta,this paper constructs the urban network through the chain network model,and uses social network analysis methods and QAP relationship regression models to explore the pattern and influencing factors of the urban network in the Yangtze River Delta from the dual perspectives of the organizational network and investment network of listed manufacturing enterprises.The results show that:(1)The spatial distribution of listed manufacturing enterprises in Yangtze River Delta has great spatial heterogeneity.Cities such as Shanghai,Hangzhou,Nanjing and Hefei are hot spots for manufacturing agglomeration,while Chizhou,Huangshan,Bozhou,Suqian and Quzhou are cold spots for manufacturing agglomeration;(2)The organizational network of listed manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta has obvious hierarchical characteristics.The core framework is radial with Shanghai as the center,while the investment network of listed manufacturing enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta is relatively scattered.Shanghai and Hangzhou jointly constitute the core cities of the enterprise investment network.In addition,there is a strong asymmetry between the enterprise organization network and the enterprise investment network.In the edge cities of the enterprise organization network,the enterprise investment network may be the core city.(3)The indexes of network density and network centrality of different types of listed manufacturing enterprise organization networks and investment networks have strong heterogeneity;(4)The organizational network and investment network of listed manufacturing enterprises are mainly affected by factors such as economic development level and mode,as well as government behavior,investment level and consumption level.The study is helpful to enrich and deepen the understanding of the characteristics of the Yangtze River Delta urban network and provide reference for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
