Since the new century,city commercial banks have become an important part of the Chinese banking industry.The development of city commercial banks has accelerated the process of urbanization in China.Human resource management with performance appraisal as the core can no longer meet the rapid development needs of urban commercial banks.Therefore,how to conduct fair and reasonable performance appraisal has become the bottleneck of the development of commercial banks in various cities.Huishang Bank is a joint-stock bank.With the continuous development and growth of business work,optimizing performance appraisal scheme is an urgent management problem for branch at present.This paper takes the performance appraisal method of Huishang Bank's Fuyang Branch as the object,and uses the relevant theory of performance appraisal to study the problems and improvement of the performance appraisal of Fuyang Branch of Huishang Bank.Firstly,a theoretical review of the concepts,methods and current research status of performance appraisal is carried out.Secondly,in-depth analysis was carried out in combination with the actual development of the performance appraisal of Fuyang Branch of Huishang Bank.It was found that there were problems in the selection,evaluation and application of indicators in the performance appraisal method.Then,after analysis,the reasons for the problems in the performance appraisal mainly include:the communication mechanism is not perfect,the evaluation of the performance appraisal is insufficient,the employees have insufficient cognition of the overall strategic objectives of the Fuyang branch,the assessment content is not comprehensive,and some assessment items are difficult to quantify and work.Program management is not strict.Finally,this paper combines the development status and strategic goal planning of Fuyang Branch,puts forward the improvement suggestions for the problems in the performance appraisal of Fuyang Branch,and puts forward the following suggestions:assistants and above emplo yees are assessed separately and different assessment indicators and sub-branch employees are set according to the different institutions.The department in charge of the line is assessed and then aggregated,the assessment cycle is improved,and the assessment organization leader is improved.Because the author is only responsible for the assistant assessment and above-level staff assessment,comprehensive branch and performance evaluation of Puhui branch and departmental assessment in the performance appraisal of Fuyang Branch of Huishang Bank,this article will be from the above three aspects to the Fuyang Branch of Huishang Bank.There are problems in performance appraisal,research and analysis,and suggestions for improvement.The paper finds out the problems found in the performance appraisal of Fuyang Branch of Huishang Bank and the suggestions for improvement.It is expected to help Fuyang Branch of Huishang Bank improve its performance appraisal level and support the short-term goal of Fuyang Branch and the realization of long-term development plan.
