The past "Golden Decade" (Year 2002-Year 2012), along with the advancement of China’s banking reforms and modernization level rising, city commercial banks significantly improved their operation and management, the liquidity, profitability and safety indicators present the best level in history.Since 2012, however, as the massive exposure of the hidden risk, the accelerating of interest rate marketization, the deepening of financial disintermediation, the intensity of horizontal competition, the rise of the internet financial and the strength of increasing regulation, the survival and development of city commercial banks are faced with great challenges. How to guide and promote city commercial banks maintained a good operating performance and management level, how to ask for further score of performance management, has become the industry attention and thought. Design and implementation of a scientific, comprehensive, objective, fair and impartial performance evaluation mechanism, will undoubtedly play a positive role in guiding the prudent management of city commercial banks, to a certain extent, will limit lack of standardardzation operation and disorderly competition.N branch of G bank, at the request of the head office and and under the guidance of regulatory authorities, how to choose a more effective performance evaluation method, optimize the incentive conduction mechanism from management departments to business units and from the leadership to the ordinary employees, constantly improve the performance evaluation system and procedure, and gradually promote the integrated application mechanism of evaluation system, establish a steady concept of performance, give full play to the steady operation and the guidance of scientific development, and help to realize the management goal efficiently, all these are the focuses of this study.In this study, on the basis of theoretical analysis, considering the actual situation of N branch, combined with the work practice for a long time, the selective use of relative performance evaluation tools, the author leaded the optimization and improvement of N branch performance evaluation system, strive to continuously improve and promote the work, to ensure N branch of steady operation and scientific development.
