Research On The Construction Of E-commerce Platform For Agricultural Products In Deyang City

The integration of Internet technologies into the fields such as peoples lives,economy and culture has brought upon emergence of e-commerce of agricultural products in the form of “Internet plus agriculture” in front of the government,farmers and consumers.In February 2018,the issue of Several Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the Deepening of Agricultural Reform on the Supply Side and the Cultivation of New Driving Forces for Agricultural and Rural Development(No.1 Document of the Central Committee)made specific arrangements on the development of rural e-commerce,its standardization,new agricultural business entities,online and offline interactions and service stations.The application of Internet information technologies in Deyang,a third-or-fourth-tier city in Sichuan,is however unbalanced in its rural and urban areas.Online transactions of agricultural products is minority,as most of these local products have not realized quality and branding on the Internet,especially characteristic products of the city.In this context,the thesis first analyzes the theory of agricultural e-commerce in logical analysis method,then studies the development status and effects of Deyang agricultural e-commerce platform model by in descriptive statistical analysis method,analyzes the constraints,existing problems and root causes of Deyang agricultural ecommerce platform development using causal analysis method,and finally puts forward coping suggestions for its development.The conclusions of the thesis are as follows:(1)The development of agricultural ecommerce platforms in the city conforms to its economic growth,with stimulations from not only external markets and government preferential measures,but also real needs from consumers and producers.(2)The main existing problems include inadequate platform traffic,poor facilities,small trading volume and lack of marketing and promotion innovations that can guide offline volume online.(3)The influence of the cultural and economic environment,insufficient budget of the producers and the undeveloped operation and management are the major ones among the many causing factors.Based on the conclusions,the policy recommendations of the thesis include improvements of the agricultural e-commerce platforms in the following areas:(1)hardware construction in Deyang City(2)service quality and standard in Deyang City;(3)operation mechanism and system in Deyang City.Drawing on the experiences and theoretical basis of agricultural e-commerce platform construction home and abroad,combined with the developing reality in Deyang City,this thesis proposes solutions and suggestions for the existing problems with some new ideas.
