Research On The Internet Enterprise Value Assessment Based On EVA

Since the 1990 s,China's Internet industry has developed rapidly.With the popularization of the Internet and the wide use of Internet technology,people's production and life style are changing dramatically.From people's catering and entertainment to the rapid development of all walks of life,every corner closely related to life is permeated with the influence of Internet technology.Based on the computer network technology,the Internet enterprises that use the characteristics of network platform to provide related products or value-added services and thus gain income are also springing up rapidly.Internet enterprises have stimulated new economic growth points,created miracles one after another,and attracted people's general attention and research.As a new form of enterprise organization,Internet enterprise has the characteristics of network economic effect and asset light operation.Its production and operation are different from the traditional enterprises,the ways of creating enterprise value are different,and the problems reflected in its value evaluation are also different.EVA measures the economic profit created by the business activities in an accounting year.EVA is not only an important index used to evaluate the overall situation and level of business management in foreign countries,but also introduced into the enterprise value evaluation.EVA pays attention to the economic profit and considers the cost of equity capital and the cost of equity capital.Using EVA can not only evaluate the enterprise value,but also promote the managers to improve the management,take creating wealth for shareholders as the primary goal,and strive to maximize the wealth of shareholders.BIDU enterprise,as a search engine supplier in China,has been committed to serving the social and economic development since its establishment.In the process of growing up together with the Internet industry,its market share is constantly rising,and its enterprise influence is constantly increasing,and it has gradually developed into one of the leading enterprises in the Internet industry in China.As an Internet enterprise with great influence in China,how to evaluate the enterprise value and how to improve the problems reflected in the evaluation are the topics we need to explore and study.These studies have certain theoretical and practical significance,which will further affect the future development of Internet enterprises.Based on the above considerations,this paper takes BIDU Internet enterprise as the research object,focusing on the application of EVA in BIDU Internet enterprise value evaluation,as well as the problems and improvements in enterprise management revealed in the application process.Firstly,the thesis expounds the research background and significance of this paper as a whole,as well as the research status of related theories,and introduces the research content,research methods and technical routes of this paper.Then,it expounds the related concepts involved in this paper,and introduces the main content,evaluation process and theoretical basis of EVA enterprise value evaluation method in detail.Secondly,this paper introduces the general situation of the case company,and expounds the motivation,basicelements and key difficulties of EVA value evaluation of the case company.Thirdly,the article uses the EVA evaluation model to adjust the accounting of the financial items needed in the calculation,sorts out and calculates the EVA related data,and finally obtains the evaluation results at the end of 2018.Finally,according to the evaluation process and evaluation results,the paper puts forward the problems and improvement suggestions of using EVA to evaluate BIDU enterprise,as well as the research conclusions and prospects for future research.Based on the application of EVA to the value evaluation of Internet enterprises,this paper summarizes two aspects: on the one hand,EVA measures the equity capital and debt capital of enterprises,considers the value of shareholders,and focuses on the growth of wealth with the goal of maximizing the interests of shareholders or stakeholders,improves the accuracy of enterprise value calculation,and more accurately reveals Internet enterprises True value.On the other hand,the evaluation results of EVA can find out the existing problems of the enterprise in time,provide strategic reference for the daily business activities of the enterprise,and provide guiding suggestions for the business management decision-making of the enterprise.
