In the past ten years,e-commerce has developed vigorously,but the online penetration of fresh products is not high,and online fresh e-commerce market is promising.In order to ensure the quality of fresh products,fresh e-commerce companies have gradually shortened the distance from consumers,and create End performance mode.End performance mode refers to the mode in which fresh e-commerce enterprises complete a series of work such as procurement,storage,processing,packaging,sorting and transportation in the upstream link of the supply chain,fulfill orders in the last kilometer,and provide home delivery service.As one form of the that,the pre-warehouse mode has become an important way to solve problems of fresh cold chain.However,due to the late development of pre-warehouse,location selection decision and inventory management are the difficult problems faced by fresh e-commerce enterprises,and are also the research hotspots in the industry.As the core links of fresh cold chain logistics,location and inventory are closely related.Changes of one link will directly affect the other.Therefore,the joint optimization of the location and inventory decision is very necessary.This paper establishes a joint optimization model of location-inventory of prewarehouse,based on the full consideration of the perishable characteristics of fresh products.First,we determine N candidate points for the construction of the prewarehouse through field investigations.Then,we determine the location and inventory decision of pre-warehouse with the goal of minimum total system cost.The system cost consists of three parts involving location Cost,inventory cost and transportation cost.First,The location costs include annual average fixed construction cost and fixed operating cost.Second,the inventory costs.Combining with the perishable characteristics of fresh products,we define the dynamic deterioration rate and dynamic market demand.Third,the transportation cost is determined by the replenishment cycle and transportation distance.It includes the transportation cost from the city center warehouse to the prewarehouse and that from the pre-warehouse to customer points.Our joint optimization model of location and inventory is a typical mixed integer programming.We use binary particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the model.We first make the location decision,and then the inventory decision for each pre-warehouse.Finally,we take a fresh food e-commerce enterprise in Beijing as an example to verify the validity of the model and conduct a model sensitivity analysis.Our model fully considers the heterogeneity of each pre-warehouse,optimizes system decisions,and provides the possibility of further reducing operating costs.The verification results of the calculation examples show that our location-inventory decision of the pre-warehouse is in line with reality,and it can well explain how the operation decision of the pre-warehouse changes with the fluctuation of market demand.It has practical reference value.There are 23 figures,17 tables and 75 references in this paper.
