Today's society is in a knowledge-based economy era with rapid development.In such an environment,an enterprise which intends to gain a place in the society must put the key elements on "people".The human resource management level of an enterprise determines the development status of talents and the operation of the organization,and the personality of an individual will have an impact on their work output.Therefore,if talents with matching individual traits and positions can be selected,it will not only enhance individual's performance,but also can make the company achieve good operation.As a special enterprise closely related to the issues of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,the development and management of talents in agricultural materials enterprises should be paid close attention to,and the research on the predictive effect of personality traits on job performance has been a hot topic in management.Based on the above situation,this article selects the employees of agricultural materials enterprises as the research objects and deeply explores the relationship between personality traits and job performance.In order to enrich the study of personality traits and job performance,this paper first introduces flexible management as a moderating variable between personality traits and job performance to explore the relationship between the three and the role of flexible management in adjusting personality traits and job performance.After reading a lot of literature and drawing on previous maturity scales,this paper collects relevant data through the research method of questionnaire survey,and uses statistical analysis software to perform corresponding analysis,and draws the conclusion of the study:(1)the working years in demographic variables have a significant impact on job performance;(2)extraversion,agreeableness and openness in personality traits have significant positive effects on job performance,while neuroticism has no significant effect on job performance;conscientiousness has a significant positive effect on job performance,which is manifested as a significant effect on task performance,but not a significant effect on relational performance;(3)inflexible management,functional flexibility and wage of financial flexibility have significant positive effects on job performance,while temporal flexibility has no significant impact on job performance;numerical flexibility has a significant positive effect on job performance,which is not significant on task performance,but significant on relational performance;(4)flexible management can regulate the influence of conscientiousness and openness in personality traits on job performance.This paper further discusses the results of the regression analysis,and finally puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the two aspects of enterprise talent selection and management,which provides certain reference value for the future human resource management of agricultural materials enterprises.
