INNO-Research On Entrepreneur Personality Traits

With the advent of venture era, the capital market remains active, what so-called capital winter, actually is bringing more rational capital. As an indispensable member in the capital market, angel investment is playing a part in Internet+ investment areas, compared with the traditional venture capital investment, angel investment is up to smaller amount, faster dealing, more withdrawing mode and more transactions. Angel investors need to contact more than400 projects every year, but just select less than 10% of them to the cooperative negotiation table.At present, angel investors in INNO start-up circles have project selection standards which including products and technology characteristics, market characteristics, entrepreneurial team experience and skills, and also they recognize that they should bring the entrepreneurial traits into projects as a guidance. This paper chose entrepreneurs in the INNO start-up circle as the research object, used the method of literature research, interviews,questionnaires and other, to study the personality traits of successful entrepreneurs, and provided the reference frame of selecting projects for the INNO start-up circle.This paper processed critical incident interview for 10 successful entrepreneurs and 5 unsuccessful entrepreneurs in the INNO start-up circle, found out the personality traits of successful entrepreneurs; And made the questionnaire survey with 175 entrepreneurs to get differences among different entrepreneurs on the demographic variables, in achievement motivation, source control and risk bearing.We found out thatMales are higher on achievement motivation, female are higher on risk bearing.Higher educationers are higher on achievement motivation, source control and risk bearing. science and technology entrepreneurs are higher on achievement motivation, source control and risk bearing.Entrepreneurs twice are higher on risk bearing.Differences on gender and age are not significantly.And then, Based on the research results, this paper bought up enlightenments and suggestions for INNO start-up circles to screen entrepreneurs personality traits in aspect of project selection.
