Geography Of Fujian Road Metal Mining Industry In Song Dynasty

During the Song Dynasty,with the development of commodity economy and the increasing demand for metal mineral products in society,the rulers of the Song Dynasty "took mineral resources as the national plan" and vigorously promoted the development of various kinds of metal mineral resources.As a result,Fujian's metal mining industry developed rapidly and became one of the main mining and metallurgical bases in the Southeast region.Its silver,copper,iron,lead and other metal minerals were all produced.It occupies an important position in the whole country.Eventually in the Song Dynasty,Fujian presented a grand spectacle of "ore cloud surge,charcoal flame,not extinguished",which attracted great attention.From the point of view of historical geography,this paper studies the development of metals mining industry in Fujian in Song Dynasty by using abundant historical materials in this area and combining the research methods of other disciplines.The structure of the article is divided into four parts: Firstly,the background of Fujian metal mining industry development in the Song Dynasty,including the natural conditions,human conditions and historical conditions of mining development,is discussed as the basis for the full text discussion.Secondly,the spatial distribution and changes of various metal mineral developments in Fujian were investigated,revealing the comprehensive geographical pattern of mining development and analyzing its causes.Then it studies the evolution process of the development of Fujian metal mining industry,restores the general trend of the rise and fall of mining industry by the number of metallurgical sites and the number of tax revenue counted by the Song government.At the same time,it supplements and demonstrates the changes of Fujian metal mining industry in the country,and analyses the characteristics and main influencing factors of the rise and decline of mining industry.Then it discusses the impact of Fujian metal mining development on the environment of the region,including the impact on the ecological environment,the impact of the economic environment and the impact of the social and political environment.Finally,it is more objective to summarize the achievements and gains and losses of Fujian metal mining development in the Song Dynasty.
