Entering the 21 st century,especially in the new normal background,innovative resources have become the core competitiveness of the country.At present,innovative resources are highly concentrated in urban agglomerations.Therefore,adhering to urban agglomeration as the main development form,innovation-driven development as a strategic goal,and improving urban competitiveness are the future development directions of China's urban agglomerations.The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is an important engine for China's innovation and development,an important witness to China's economic development,and an important carrier for building a new enterprise market system and consolidating its innovation capabilities.On the basis of combing relevant literatures,this paper has deepened the understanding of the basic theories such as urban agglomeration theory and innovation efficiency theory,and analyzed the related theories of innovation efficiency and influencing factors.Then,after descriptive statistical analysis of the innovation status of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,the transcendental logarithmic stochastic production function model in the SFA method is used to measure the short-term innovation efficiency value of 26 cities in the 2006-2017 elderly triangle urban agglomeration(with high technical output value),The value of long-term innovation efficiency(innovative efficiency value of output with patent grant).and the combination of Arc-gis software to explore the spatial differentiation characteristics of short-term and long-term innovation efficiency.Finally,in order to identify the influencing factors affecting the difference of innovation efficiency,consider the spatial relationship factors,further test the spatial correlation between the short-term and long-term innovation efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,construct the geographic distance spatial weight matrix,and use the spatial panel model to influence the influencing factors.The empirical results show that:(1)In the short-term and long-term,the innovation efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is generally on the rise,but the differences between cities are obvious,mainly in Suzhou,Shanghai,Nanjing and other cities as innovative highlands,and continue to spread to peripheral cities.And the long-term innovation efficiency level is higher than the short-term innovation efficiency level;(2)The short-term and long-term innovation efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration show a significant spatial positive correlation,mainly in Shanghai,Nanjing,Suzhou,Nantong and other cities have formed a stable high-High positive correlation clusters;in addition,geographical proximity has a significant spillover effect on innovation efficiency,and the improvement of innovation efficiency in neighboring cities will promote the innovation efficiency of the city;(3)From the estimation results of direct,indirect and total effects The influence degree of each influencing factor on the innovation efficiency of urban agglomerations is different.The two variables of government support and economic development have obvious effects on innovation efficiency.The education level has a significant effect on short-term innovation efficiency,while regional infrastructure,The level of industrialization has no significant effect on short-term innovation efficiency,but it can improve long The level of innovation efficiency.Finally,in order to improve the overall level of innovation efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,the regional innovation and development are proposed.
