In recent years,China's transportation infrastructure industry is facing more and more broad external market space. While going global, related businesses such as transportation technology and equipment, engineering design, construction and project management have also driven the export of domestic technology and equipment, which has played a positive role in alleviating domestic employment pressure and promoting bilateral or multilateral technical and service cooperation. In November 11,2019,President Xi Jinping visited the COSCO Piraeus Port Project cooperated by China and Greece, further demonstrating China's sincere attitude towards investment and cooperation in transportation infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe. As far as the Central and Eastern European countries are concerned, the backward transport infrastructure has become the bottleneck of their development;the global competitiveness report of the world economic forum shows that the ranking of infrastructure indicators in Central and Eastern Europe is much lower than that in Western Europe, and the lack of infrastructure supply has become the development obstacle of Central and Eastern Europe. At the same time,Central and Eastern European countries have a strong demand for transport infrastructure investment and a great potential for market investment.According to PwC's report,by 2025,the total capital demand for transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe is estimated to be around 615 billion euros, equivalent to about 170 euros per capita investment in Central and Eastern Europe every year, which provides a broad market space and opportunities for Chinese infrastructure enterprises to invest in transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern European countries.Strengthening the investment in transport infrastructure of Central and Eastern European countries is in line with the needs of economic development of both sides, and is conducive to the mutual benefit and win-win of China and Central and Eastern European countries. This paper focuses on the investment and cooperation in the field of transport infrastructure between China and 17 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, firstly,it summarizes the current situation of the development of transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe, including railways, highways, airports and ports, introduces the current situation and significance of China's investment in transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe, and analyzes the favorable conditions of China's investment in transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe using diamond model analysis.Based on the analysis, this paper discusses the problems faced by China's investment in transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe and the experience gained, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for promoting China's investment in transport infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe for the reference of governments and enterprises.
