As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,state-owned enterprise innovation has not only become a strategic support and important force to lead the country's scientific and technological innovation and build a national modern economic system.It has also played an increasingly important role in expanding asset scale and occupying market initiative..This article conducts an in-depth study of the leadership style and employee innovation of state-owned enterprises,and explores the role played by the sense of power distance in the relationship between leadership style and employee innovation.By further revealing the operating and development laws of stateowned enterprises,it provides a basis for the reform of state-owned enterprises To a certain extent,theoretical guidance has also helped state-owned enterprise managers to establish more effective leadership traits in practice and maximize the enthusiasm for independent innovation of state-owned enterprise employees.On the basis of defining core concepts such as leadership style,employee innovation,and sense of power distance,and summarizing the existing research results,this article selects a representative state-owned enterprise in Shanghai,SQ Group,for 287 employees.Employees conducted a questionnaire survey and used descriptive analysis,difference analysis,regression analysis and other methods to verify the hypotheses proposed in this article.The research results show that:(1)Leadership style will significantly affect employee innovation.Among them,the transformational leadership style significantly affects employee innovation,and the disruptive leadership style significantly affects employee innovation.(2)Leadership style will significantly affect employees' sense of power and distance.Among them,the transformational leadership style significantly negatively affects employees' sense of power distance,and the disruptive leadership style significantly affects power distance sense.(3)The sense of power distance plays a part of mediating role between leadership style and employee innovation.Specifically,the sense of power distance has a mediating role between the transformational leadership style and employee innovation.That is,while the transformational leadership style has a direct positive impact on employee innovation,it also innovates employees through a sense of power distance.Sexuality has an indirect positive impact;the sense of power distance has a mediating role between destructive leadership and employee innovation,that is,destructive leadership has a direct negative impact on employee innovation,and it also passes a sense of power distance Have an indirect negative impact on employee innovation.This article deepens the understanding of leadership style and employee innovation,and clarifies the relationship between leadership style and sense of power distance,power distance and employee innovation;elaborates the role of the sense of power distance in the impact of leadership style on employee innovation Mechanism has positive theoretical significance.At the same time,this article hopes to enrich and expand the theoretical research of leadership style and employee innovation at the theoretical level,so as to effectively guide the state-owned enterprises to create growth and economic performance at the practical level,and then achieve employee innovation.
