Since China joined the World Trade Organization, the total export trade volume has witnessed the skyrocketing growth with the opening up.Meanwhile,China is also faced with the increasingly serious situation of international trade friction, according to the data issued by WTO,until now China has been 22 years suffering the most number of anti-dumping investigations around the world since 1995.There are also references established that the AD trade barrier factor would significantly affect the mode of trade growth. With the increasing availability of micro-data and the increasingly in-depth study conducted on the Heterogeneous Enterprise Trade Theory, the effect of enterprise level has gradually become the focus.Under this background,is there a positive relationship between the anti-dumping barrier and intensive margin and extensive margin of enterprise export? The document focuses on the influence of the anti-dumping barrier suffered by Chinese enterprise on export binary margin. The document firstly adopts the “Three-Country Trade Model” to conduct analysis on the mechanism of the impact of anti-dumping barrier encountered on export binary margin. Then it makes a preliminary statistical analysis of the current situation of China's anti-dumping and the characteristic facts of enterprises' export. In accordance with such basis, the document makes use of the matching data from 2000 to 2007 from Chinese Industrial Enterprise database,China Customs database and Global Antidumping database,to decompose the enterprise's export growth into intensive margin and extension margin;it also analyzes the impact of anti-dumping barrier on Chinese enterprises' export binary margin from the micro-level experience by virtue of Difference in Differences(DID),at the same time,it takes the situation of dynamic changes into consideration. The study result makes the following steady indications: first of all,the intensive margin and extension margin for the export of Chinese enterprise have been significantly affected by the anti-dumping measures taken by the trading partner in the Investigation period. There are negative effects on the average export volume, the diversity of export products and the diversity of destination countries.Generally speaking, the preliminary affirmative determination on antidumping has a negative impact on export intensive margin for the anti-dumping at current period and next period and next two period. And the inhibiting effect reaches the maximum in the second period, while the inhibition effect is no longer significant in the forth period.Secondly, upon the robust inspection done, using use Propensity Score Matching of Difference in Differences(PSM-DID)and taking fina affirmative determination as the study object, the measurement result shows that, the anti-dump measure taken by the trading partner(whether it be the preliminary affirmative determination or final affirmative determination)has restrained the export intensive margin and extension margin of Chinese enterprise in the short time.Thirdly, the heterogeneous features of enterprise, such as enterprise's total factor productivity, scale, and capital intensity are the key factors for affecting the export binary margin.Fourthly, compared with enterprises not subsidized by the government,anti-dumping has less effect on the export restraint of enterprises subsidized by the government. In the end,the document reaches related conclusion as per theory and empirical analysis, and puts forward the possible policy suggestions in terms of micro enterprise and government.
