With more than ten years painstaking efforts,SCC developed from an outsider of the cement industry in 2 007 to the leading enterprise in this field.Through merging,restructuring and management integration,it is now the main contributor of revenue in CNBM,as we ll as the model enterprise for ownership reform in China.At present,China's cement industry environment is complicated and constantly changing,SCC managers are faced with multiple challenges and deeision-making dilemmas,The capability to effectively deal with various "paradoxical tensions" in organizations has become an important indicator of leadership effectiveness.With the expansion of SCC's organizational volume,the complexity and uncertainty of the organizational external and internal environment continue to increase' and accordingly enterprises are facing different paradoxical tensions from both inside and outside.It is becoming more important and urgent for managers to recognize and handle conflicts,to converse and balance these paradoxes in dynamic environments.The thesis focuses on paradoxical leadership cases in SCC.Based on relevant literature on paradoxical leadership research.The author conducts in-depth interviews with 7 middle and senior managers of this company,analyzes and demonstrates the impact of SCC paradoxical leadership on decision-making,subordinates behavior and enterprise development In the end based on the current situation of paradoxical leadership of SCC managers,the thesis provides recommendations on how to set achievable targets and for development of paradoxical leadership.
