| With the continuous growth of China’s economy,the credit card business of commercial banks has also achieved rapid development.The number of issuing cards and the amount of consumption by commercial banks have increased substantially.Compared with the western developed countries,the credit card business is carried out later in China,and there are many deficiencies in various rules and regulations and related processes,so the pressure of credit card business risk management is huge.Moreover,due to the increasingly market-oriented interest rate of commercial banks,the increasingly diversified customer demand and the lack of obvious differences in credit card products,the downward economic cycle,the increase of default rate and other factors,credit card business risk management faces many challenges.The risk management level of credit card business of commercial banks plays an important role in the profitability and future development of commercial banks.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study how to improve the risk management level of commercial banks’ credit card business.This paper takes x branch of bank g as an example,through analyzing the current situation of risk management of X branch’s credit card business,and combining with the relevant theories of risk management of commercial banks,it is of great practical significance to study how to improve its risk management ability of credit card business.This paper introduces the problems of X branch in the risk management of credit card business from the aspects of marketing,examination and approval,transaction monitoring,collection,etc.,such as the weak risk awareness of marketing personnel,the imperfect customer credit evaluation system,the neglect of management of special merchants,and the settlement of collection party.In view of the problems existing in the risk management of the credit card business of X branch,the specific problems are analyzed in detail,and the corresponding countermeasures and guarantee measures are put forward according to the process of the credit card business. |
