With the development of economic globalization, the market environment is becoming more and more complex, corporate tax planning activities are becoming more frequent and national tax issues are more prominent.Relationship transaction has the characteristics of reducing transaction costs and increasing mutual benefits,in which upstream and downstream enterprises can complement resources, create value and obtain irreplaceable core competitiveness. This paper explores the relationship between transaction and corporate tax planning. It is found that relationship transaction is a double-edged sword. It not only brings economic benefits through cooperation, but also brings business risks due to opportunism.Based on the data of China's A-share listed manufacturing industry in 2008-2016,this paper studies the impact of relationship transaction on corporate tax planning behavior, and introduces tax enforcement as a regulatory variable to explore whether it will affect the taxation caused by relationship transaction. The empirical findings show that when the proportion of customer transactions is greater than 25%,corporate tax planning is positively related to relationship transaction, and supplier relationship transactions are positively correlated throughout the sample interval. The tax enforcement can significantly inhibit the tax planning activities. The stronger tax enforcement is,the weaker the tax planning activities becomes. In the conclusion part, the author suggests that government needs to pay attention to the impact of external stakeholders on corporate tax planning behavior, improve tax laws and regulations and supervise the quality of corporate information disclosure.
