Since its birth in the United States in the 20 th century,Internet technology has changed people's ways of production,life,action and thought with incalculable speed and energy,and also have had a very important impact in economy,culture,society and other aspects.The year 2013 has been called "The first year of Internet finance" in China.New Internet finance models such as third-party payment and P2 P lending have been constantly formed and gradually developed.Bill Gates,the former President of Microsoft,once predicted that traditional commercial banks would suffer the same fate as dinosaurs in the new era,and innovation would be the only way for banks to survive.Commercial banks in China are generally faced with the problems of insufficient financial innovation,weak competitiveness and low levels of operation and management.In this new competitive environment,only by breaking through the development bottleneck,adjusting their own competitive strategies,and finding the right market position,can commercial banks survive and develop better.Bank of Baoding is the first local joint-stock city commercial bank in Baoding city.Whether Bank of Baoding can successfully adjust the competitive strategy affects the economic and financial development of Baoding city,even Hebei province.This paper,by means of literature research,field investigation and expert scoring,designs the competitive strategy of Bank of Baoding in the context of Internet finance by combining quantitative and qualitative methods.At the same time,the analysis tools such as PEST analysis and QSPM strategic matrix are used to assist the research to make a detailed analysis of the internal and external environment of Bank of Baoding.On this basis,the selection of competitive strategy,implementation plan and guarantee measures of differentiation strategy of Bank of Baoding are designed.This paper maintains the research direction of the frontier,the unique perspective,and the comprehensive research content.This article research can enrich the competitive strategy of commercial banks related literature achievement,also to a certain extent,can solve the development problems of Bank ofBaoding currently existing.It can also provide a reference to other banks in Baoding city,and other commercial cities banks in China under the background of new era to grasp the development opportunities,obtain the competition advantage of differentiation,and avoid low-level homogenous competition.The results show that in the Internet financial environment,Bank of Baoding must change the development mode actively,comprehensively promote the strategic transformation,take the road of differentiation,specialization and refinement,and fully implement the differentiation competitive strategy.Bank of Baoding should actively implement the differentiation strategy from four aspects: developing differentiated financial products,establishing differentiated customer coverage mode,improving differentiated financial service level and paying attention to brand image differentiation.In addition,supporting measures should be taken from strengthening risk prevention and control,building an Internet financial platform and enriching the talent team.
