Research On The Underpinning Support Of Age Service For Poor Elderly In Rural Areas

Under the situation of population aging in China,the poor elderly in rural areas face more difficulties in their later life,such as economic distress and inadequate social welfare coverage.The existing research results on the poor elderly in rural areas mainly focus on the measurement standard and scale of the population,the analysis of the factors causing poverty,and the suggestions on countermeasures against poverty.Based on the questionnaire data in Boye County,this paper makes an analysis of the problem of aged service for the poor elderly in rural areas and corresponding countermeasures.In recent years,the rural elderly care service system has been constantly improved,and the targeted poverty alleviation strategy has also scored a decisive victory.However,there are still many problems in providing the basic support for the rural poor elderly.In particular,it is reflected in the small scope of support and security for the elderly in rural areas,the weak foundation of pension services,the prominent contradiction between the supply and demand of basic pension services,the poor connection between pension services and rescue policies,and the lack of limited supervision mechanism.There is no doubt that in the face of the plight of rural poor elderly care,it is urgent to improve the rural poor elderly care service underpinning support mechanism.Therefore,in the context of Rural Revitalization Strategy,it is necessary to improve the rural poor elderly aged service underpinning support mechanism from the perspective of multi welfare.This paper mainly adopts the literature research method of field investigation,quantitative and qualitative combination and other methods.Firstly,through the literature research method,this paper summarizes and summarizes the domestic and foreign studies,and is familiar with the meaning of aged services for rural poor elderly people.Followed by field investigation,the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,on the basis of the questionnaire and on-the-spot visiting discussion,get the data,and summarizes basic features of the sample village rural poverty the elderly,and combining the theory of hierarchy of needs analysis Boye county rural poverty aged service supply and demand status,Then it puts forward some suggestions and Countermeasures to solve theproblems,including: expanding the scope of support for the poor elderly in rural areas,strengthening the foundation of pension services,establishing a demand-oriented pension service supporting mechanism,strengthening the connection between pension services and social assistance policies,and improving the supervision mechanism of policy implementation.
