The aim of the present thesis was to determine the impact of agricultural exports products on economic growth in Ivory Coast.Analyzing the relationship between cocoa export products and the economic growth. It employs an extended generalized Cobb Douglas production function model, and we used diverse sources of data such as: food and agricultural organization(FAOSTAT)data and World Bank(WBI)Data from 1985 to 2019.The variables found out were all non-stationary and of order I(1),thus,the Cointegration test was conducted for long run equilibrium. All the variables confirmed cointegration and the conventional vector error correction model were estimated by using the Engle and Granger procedure. The findings of our study have showed that the agricultural exports have doubled effect on economic growth in Ivory Coast.Cocoa export was found to have a negative and insignificant effect on economic growth.Throughout our findings,it is well recommended that policies aimed for increasing the production and quality of these cash crops should be implemented. Also additional value should be added to cocoa beans before exporting. After doing it the consequences will be obvious in other word it will affect positively the economic growth in Ivory Coast.
