Research On The Operating Efficiency Of Commercial Autoinsurance Under The Marketization Of Rate

Commercial auto insurance is the first major insurance for property insurance in China,and its operating efficiency is directly related to the overall economic benefits of property insurance companies.Under the background of auto insurance rate marketization,the improvement of the operational efficiency of auto insurance business is an important guarantee for property and casualty insurance companies t o enhance their market competitiveness and achieve sustainable development.This paper takes the commercial auto insurance business data of 16 domestic property insurance companies in 2014-2017 as a sample,and uses the three-stage DEA analysis method to select the input and output variables of the sample property insurance company's commercial auto insurance to evaluate the efficiency of the company's auto insurance.The results of the stage analysis show the technical efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency of the commercial auto insurance of China's property and casualty insurance companies;then use the SFA analysis method to eliminate the environmental variables and random error items that may affect the operating efficiency of the property insurance companies,and reduce the external environment.Finally,the adjusted slack variables were put into the DEA model again,and the operational efficiency of the property insurance companies and the first-stage operating efficiency results after the environmental impact were removed.The empirical results show that: China's property and casualty insurance companies are undergoing a critical period of reform and transformation.In the early stage of reform,the overall efficiency of commercial auto insurance is low.The main reason for the low technical efficiency of the commercial auto insurance industry is the low efficiency of pure technical efficiency.The investment is more important.The low efficiency of the pure technical efficiency of t he commercial auto insurance industry is mainly due to the fact that the auto insurance company's auto insurance management level is highly polarized.The low level of auto insurance business management of some property insurance companies has seriously hi ndered the discovery of its auto insurance business.Therefore,if we want to achieve a higher level of operational efficiency in the commercial auto insurance industry,the primary task is to improve the pure technical efficiency of commercial auto insura nce companies in China's property insurance companies,and strive to improve the management level of commercial auto insurance for property insurance companies,while car insurance should also expand moderately.
