Nowadays,in a world of multi-polarization,economic globalization,social informatization and cultural diversification,how to implement the innovation-driven concept has a significant and far-reaching impact on the sustainable development of enterprises.Today enterprises carry out their work in the form of teams.Therefore,it is crucial to master the methods to effectively promote team creativity for the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.In the process of working in a team,the head of team plays the role of a leader,whose creativity is closely related to the creative results of the team.Based on this,this paper explores the inner mechanism of leader creativity and team creativity.Through literature review,it is found that present scholars have explored the relationship between leader creativity and employee creativity from a variety of perspectives,but these studies are lack in the interpretation from the perspective of team interaction process.Based on previous studies,this paper conducts research from the perspective of team interaction process.In the process of interaction of the team,team members' cohesion,satisfaction and participation can affect the quality of team collaboration,and further influence the team output.While in the academic research,team members' cohesion,satisfaction and participation are included in the term-team vitality.Therefore,this paper believes that team vitality may play a mediating role between leader creativity and team creativity.In order to achieve the output of creative results,the process of creativity deserves attention.Then this paper selects creative process engagement as a boundary variable when the team is led by creative leader and their role that they play during interaction process is worth exploring.Based on the theory of Input-Process-Output and Social Learning Theory,this paper selects all the work teams in the Beijing-based Internet technology companies as the research object from the perspective of team interaction process.Through field investigation and questionnaire,this study covers valid data of 64 teams,whose functions research and development,operation,marketing,and service.These data are analyzed by SPSS21.0 and Mplus7.0.The conclusions are summarized as follows: firstly,the leader creativity has a positive effect on team creativity;secondly,leader creativity has a positive effect on team vitality;thirdly,team vitality plays a mediating role between leader creativity and team creativity;finally,creative process engagement negatively regulates the relationship between leader creativity and team vitality.Based on the perspective of group interaction process in Chinese context,this paper verifies the positive role of leader creativity on team creativity,and on this basis,it explores the mediating role of team vitality between leader creativity and team creativity,and found that the creative process engagement has the regulating effect on the relationship between leader creativity and team vitality,enriching the research on the mechanism of leader creativity on team creativity,and providing certain reference for teams of the enterprise to improve their creativity in actual management.
