Study On China ESOP From The Perspective Of Marx's Labor Process Theory

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the development of mixed ownership economy and ESOP has become an important part of the current economic reform.The ESOP was born in the practice of foreign companies to alleviate labor conflicts and control the labor process,and was introduced to China in the 1980 s.This system is not only conducive to optimizing the shareholding structure and perfecting the corporate governance model,but also giving employees the right to make residual claims and management decision-making through shareholding incentives to achieve a close integration of personal development and company interests.From the perspective of micro-production,Marx's labor process theory describes the performance of labor processes under different production relations and different levels of productivity,and then exposes the capitalists' control and exploitation of workers.It advocates the comprehensive development of laborers and builds a theoretical core of the new labor process,which has important theoretical guidance for comprehending the ESOP.This article takes Marx's labor process theory as the theoretical basis,uses the combination of history and logic,empirical analysis and normative analysis,and literature and cases to discuss the performance of China's ESOP under different ownership enterprises and different technical levels.This article first reviews the classic text and the labor process in the historical development,and seeks a theoretical breakthrough for exploring the ESOP in China;Secondly,on the basis of analyzing the applicability of the labor process theory and the necessity of implementing employee shareholding,it demonstrates the close relationship between the two in terms of birth background,theoretical proposition,and improvement direction,and determines that Marx's labor process theory is suitable for China's economic development.Thirdly,based on the development process of the ESOP in different enterprises,this article compares the differences in the purpose,shareholding form and labor rights of this system.Finally,this article combines the development trend of the labor process under the new technological revolution,and puts forward suggestions for enterprises to implement ESOP.This article mainly draws the following conclusions: Firstly,Marx 's labor process theory that analyzes the laws of capitalist economic operation also has a certain scope of application in China;Secondly,the China ESOP began in the 1980 s and has different characteristics in different enterprises and different historical stages;Thirdly,Marx's labor process theory has gone through the stages of silence,development,deviation,etc.and has shown new development trends with the progress of scientific and technological.Finally,Marx's labor process theory has an important guiding role in studying China ESOP.
