Research On The Performance Of China's Manufacturing Foreign Direct Investment

With the continuous improvement of China's economic development level,China's foreign direct investment has developed steadily,in particular,the implementation of the “Belt and Road” initiative,which has further promoted the rapid development of China's foreign direct investment.Among them,manufacturing has become the main industry for China's foreign direct investment.To a certain extent,foreign direct investment is conducive to promoting the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.Therefore,continuously tracking and paying attention to the benefits of foreign direct investment in the manufacturing industry has important guiding significance for further advancing the implementation of China 's “Belt and Road” construction and improving the level of foreign direct investment in the manufacturing industry.This article focuses on the performance of China's manufacturing foreign direct investment,and analyzes the development status of China's manufacturing foreign direct investment,reflecting the development status and characteristics of China's manufacturing foreign direct investment in terms of investment scale,investment regions,investment industries,investment methods and investment subjects.Establish a performance evaluation system for China's manufacturing foreign direct investment,and conduct a performance analysis of the business performance of the sample enterprises from the aspects of profitability,operating capacity,debt serviceability and development ability.At the same time,the factor analysis method was used to analyze the financial performance of the 35 listed China manufacturing companies that have implemented foreign direct investment in 2013-2015,examine the actual operating performance of China manufacturing foreign direct investment,and make a comparative study on the performance scores of manufacturing companies in different regions,different industries and different subjects,it was concludedthat foreign direct investment significantly improves the short-term performance of China manufacturing listed companies,but does not achieve the desired effect on long-term performance.Therefore,the countermeasures and suggestions for further improving the operating performance of China's manufacturing foreign direct investment are proposed,it is believed that in the future,the location distribution pattern of China's manufacturing foreign direct investment needs to be continuously optimized,enhance independent innovation capabilities and elevate the status of China's manufacturing in the value chain,continue to give full play to the advantages of state-owned enterprises,improve the competitiveness of private enterprises,and continuously strengthen cooperation with countries and regions that have invested extensively in China manufacturing.
