In recent years,with the overcapacity in the medium voltage switch industry in China,the market of middle and high end is shrinking,the sales performance and profit of the enterprises are decreasing continuously.It is not in line with the development trend of domestic market to introduce foreign enterprises directly from foreign countries by products or simple domestically made domestically,so optimizing the existing product strategy has become the key to win the competition in the competition.This paper uses the theory knowledge of product management to analyze and study the status of product management in S company,find out the problems in product management,formulate the optimization strategy of product management,and put forward the method of product combination effect analysis,in order to verify the rationality of the product combination.This paper studies the optimization strategy of product management in S Company,and obtains the following results:1? The related theoretical content of product management is summarized.introducing the definitions of products and product management,summarizing the main content of product management,expounding two kinds of tools of competitive environment analysis to provide theoretical support for the research.2? This paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems of product management in S Company.This paper makes a deep research on S Company and medium Voltage switch Industry,analyzing the medium voltage switching industry and the competitive environment of and the products in S Company by using Porter's five-force model and SOWT tool,introducing the product line of S Company in detail,analyzing the problems existing in the product management of S Company.3? Formulate the optimization strategy of product management for S Company.Based on the analysis of the current situation and problems of product management in S Company,the objectives and principles of the optimization strategy of product management are firstly designed.And then the optimization strategy of product portfolios,the localization product life cycle management strategy,the product differentiation competition strategy and the product innovation management process which are suitable for S company are made according to the objectives and principles4? The effect of S Company's Product portfolio is analyzed.This paper selects three indexes,which are rigid demands of the market,product profitability and product life cycle to structure the analysis models for the optimization effect of product portfolios from the aspect of the core competitiveness of the products in S company,and adopts AHP and expert consultation method to analyze the optimization effect and to verify the rationality of the optimization strategy.The research results of this paper can not only help S improve product competitiveness,but also make S company develop healthily and steadily.It also has reference significance for other domestic foreign manufacturers,and promotes the benign and orderly development of medium voltage switchgear industry.
