Tourism is the main pillar industry of the Guilin economy.Its overall level has been in a slow and steady of sustained growth.Although Guilin's inbound foreign tourist market has declined for three consecutive years since 2011,the overall economic income has not been greatly affected.Especially in recent two years,with the rapid warming of domestic tourism,the inbound market of Guilin has begun to show gratifying positive growth trend.According to the statistics of Guilin tourism administration network at the end of 2016,the number of tourists in North America(United States and Canada)in Guilin is two of the top five of all the visitors of Guilin in addition to Asia,and the high consumption tourists of North American mostly choose to travel to Guilin in group.Therefore,how to stabilize and better expand the tourist market for the inbound foreigners in Guilin,especially the inbound North American team tourist market in Guilin,has become an important issue for Guilin government and the tourism industry to think and study.Based on the above and objective situation,this paper summarizes the current research and development of tourism consumption behavior at home and abroad and the 2010-2016years' tourist reception in Guilin,and designs a set of adjustments to the tourist consumption behavior of the North American team tourists,combining the theories of tourism consumption behavior and tourism psychology.The questionnaire,including the three stages of pre-consumption,in-consumption and after-consumption,and the systematic analysis of the sampling survey on the tourist consumption behavior of the visitors to North America in Guilin by mathematical statistics and related software,reveals the relationship between the tourist characteristics and the consumption behavior of the visitors to the North American team in Guilin.Compared with the difference of consumption behavior due to the difference of gender,age and educational level,we finally summed up the consumption behavior patterns of the North American team tourist consumption behavior model and the different social population characteristics of the North American team,and put forward the corresponding enlightenment to Guilin tourism.At the end of this paper,the characteristics of tourist consumption behavior of Guilin entry North American team are summarized again,and the conclusions and shortcomings in this study are summarized.
