Study On The Coordinated Development Of Tourism And Transportation In Chongqing

In recent years,with the introduction of the concept of "global tourism" and the affirmation of general secretary Xi Jinping’s development of global tourism,all provinces and municipalities across the country have begun to vigorously promote the construction of the global tourism demonstration area,and the construction of global tourism also requires that all industries actively develop in a coordinated way with the tourism industry.Transportation has long been an important part of tourism infrastructure system.The development of transportation industry will not only determine the choice of tourist destination,but also affect the development and marketing of tourism resources,and this influence will become a tourism route over time,which can promote the rapid development of regional tourism.As one of the first cities to build a global tourism demonstration area,Chongqing has developed tourism rapidly in recent years.Studying the coupling and coordinated development of tourism and transportation in the region is important to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the two industries and the construction of a comprehensive tourism demonstration area significance.On the basis of combing the previous research results,this paper analyzes the development status of tourism and transportation industry in Chongqing with the help of coordination theory and system coupling theory,and studies the integration and coordination of tourism and transportation industry in Chongqing and 38 districts and counties by using coupling coordination model.Specific research and analysis include the comprehensive development level,coupling coordination level and spatial analysis of tourism and transportation industry in Chongqing and 38 districts and counties of Chongqing.Based on the analysis of the comprehensive development level and coupling and coordinated development of tourism and transportation in Chongqing and 38 districts and counties in Chongqing from 2006 to 2017,the following conclusions are drawn.(1)The evolution of transportation plays a driving role in the development of the tourism industry,mainly as a lock-in effect and a guiding effect;at the same time,the development of the tourism industry promotes the evolution of the transportation network,which mainly affects the transportation network through the scale of tourism development and the evolution of the tourism spatial structure.In the process of mutual influence and mutual promotion,the two industries have gradually formed an endogenous mutual feedback mechanism.(2)From 2006 to 2017,the comprehensive development level of Chongqing’s tourism and transportation industry has been greatly improved,but there is still a relatively large development space for the two industries,and it needs to continue to develop well in the future.At the same time,there are great regional differences in the development of tourism and transportation industry in each district and county of Chongqing.The two districts and counties with better industrial development are mainly concentrated in the main urban area and Western Chongqing area,while the development of the two industries in the relatively remote northeast Chongqing area and Southeast Chongqing area is at a relatively low level.In the future,it is necessary to strengthen the two major industries in these remote districts and counties Industry guidance and attention;(3)From 2006 to 2017,the coupling and coordination level of Chongqing’s tourism industry and transportation industry continued to improve,and the coordination level spanned from the ten stages from 2006 to 2017 to the coordination stage from 2010 to 2017.However,from the perspective of districts and counties,except for the coupling and coordination level of the two major industries in some main urban areas,most districts and counties are at a relatively low level.Therefore,in the future,it will be further improved At the same time,we need to strengthen the interaction between the two industries and improve the coupling and coordination level of the two industries;(4)Through the autocorrelation analysis,it is found that the coupling coordination degree of the two industries in Chongqing evolves from the discrete characteristic distribution to the clustering distribution characteristic,and the spatial correlation of each district and county is continuously significant.At the same time,from 2006 to 2017,the number of districts and counties passing the significance test of "high-high cluster" type increased and mainly located in the main urban area,while the number of districts and counties of "low-high outlier" type decreased,and the interaction and cooperation between districts and counties increased,and the relevance of modulation level increased.Finally,according to the research results and conclusions,the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the integration and coordination of tourism and transportation in Chongqing.
