Middle managers,as the backbone of corporate development,are the planners and implementers of corporate strategies and can play an important role.Electric power companies need to continuously improve production efficiency and reduce corporate costs.The key content is the management of human resources.Performance evaluation is one of the key modules of human resource management.Through scientific assessment and management methods,the work enthusiasm of middle managers can be enhanced.Create greater value for the company.This research takes JW Power Company as the research object,and conducts a research on the optimization of the performance evaluation system for middle managers.This article first introduces the current research status of performance management and performance management of power companies at home and abroad,elaborates related concepts and theories.After analyzing the current status of performance management of JW power companies' middle managers,interviews investigate the problems existing in performance management of JW power companies Including:lagging performance management concepts,disconnection of performance assessment from strategic goals,inadequate assessment index system,poor performance communication of employees,and insufficient application of assessment results.Then through analysis,JW Power Company introduced a balanced scorecard evaluation method,formulated corporate strategic goals,proposed evaluation indicators from the aspects of finance,customers,internal processes,learning and growth,and determined the department-level performance evaluation system and the office director's performance evaluation system.Finally,put forward the implementation of performance management processes and put forward corresponding safeguard measures,including strengthening scientific understanding of performance management,strengthening organizational guarantees,enhancing human resources guarantees,improving performance management system guarantees,and improving communication mechanisms.By combining the two performance management tools of balanced scorecard and KPI,under the new performance evaluation operation,JW Power Company will inevitably greatly improve its management level.It is hoped that the research in this article can provide a certain reference.
