Multi-channel Order Fulfillment Optimization Based On Joint Inventory Management For A Series Product

With the rapid development of Internet in China in recent decades,more and more people begin to use Internet technology to improve the convenience of daily life.This change has had a major impact on many industries about how to run the business in the past few decades.Especial for retail,which is most relevant to people's daily life.The traditional single channel retail model which relies on offline physical stores to complete money and goods transactions is gradually replaced by the multi-channel retail model.However,in the process of channel upgrading,many enterprises have encountered great challenges in supply chain operation.The operation of supply chain under the single channel mode is already very complex,which is mainly reflected in the two aspects of numerous cross-department collaboration and the interaction between upstream and downstream.The multi-channel model makes the supply chain more complicated.Company have to take the supply chain operation modes for both online and offline channel into account and which are not completely same.What's more,the coordination between two channels should be covered as well.This series of difficulties eventually make the supply quality unsatisfactory,then make the negative impact on business.This paper takes the A series products of K company,which is currently carrying out the online and offline multi-channel retail model,as the main research object.By studying the overall operation status of the enterprise and the supply chain network,core indicators and other supply chain relevant to figure out the problems existing in its supply chain.Then,this paper explores the order fulfillment plan of maximizing enterprise profit from inventory control by purchasing decision and delivery decision.In addition,a corresponding supply network optimization model was established by using the programming theory,and the model was programmed and solved by LINGO software.Finally,through the comparison of different scenario,the improvement effect on order fulfillment performance,profit and logistics cost was demonstrated.This paper is expected to optimize the operation status of K company's A series products through its optimal solution,and at the same time to make the contribution to the theoretical improvement of supply chain planning in the Internet era.At the end of the paper,the implementation and guarantee plan of the optimization solution are discussed,and the deficiencies in the research process are also listed,so as to guarantee the practicality of the research as much as possible.
