In recent years,driven by relevant policies,the number of professional farmers in China continues to rise.There are great differences between professional farmers and traditional farmers,which can be embodied in many aspects such as cultural quality,scientific and technological quality and political quality.However,relevant financial institutions do not distinguish between the two when they provide loans for farmers.Explore the impact of farmers’ professionalization of peasant household borrowing,is conducive to eliminate the disadvantages of the traditional service mode of rural financial market,promoting financial business innovation,boosting agricultural modernization,for rural financial institutions credit product innovation and business model innovation to provide theoretical basis and empirical reference,improving the living standards of farmers.In this paper,using literature analysis,the first of the professionalization of peasants,farmers at home and abroad shows that the current lending behavior and the relationship between the current research status,then based on the survey of 908 households apple growers data,using the factor analysis to measure the professional level of the peasants,and the two big apple advantage the farmers’ professional level,and then through the descriptive statistics analysis points out the different level of professional farmers in the head of the household characteristics,family resources endowment and lending behavior differences,Finally,the author USES binary Logit model and multivariate ordered Logit model to empirically analyze the specific impact of farmer professionalism on farmer’s borrowing behavior.By exploring the influence of farmers’ professionalism on farmers’ borrowing behaviors,the following conclusions can be drawn :(1)the professionalism level of apple growers in the dominant areas around bohai bay is lower than that in the loess plateau,but the professionalism level of apple growers in the dominant areas of bohai plateau is relatively more concentrated.(2)The sample proportion of farmers with medium and high professionalism was the highest,followed by those with high professionalism.The stability of the professionalism level of farmers was enhanced in accordance with the sequence of low-professionalism farmers,all farmers,medium-professionalism farmers and high-professionalism farmers.(3)Farmers with different professional levels haveheterogeneity in personal characteristics,family characteristics,family loan demand and loan decision.Compared with farmers with a low level of professionalism,farmers with a high level of professionalism are characterized by younger age,longer years of education,lower family dependency ratio,longer planting term,larger land operation scale and apple planting scale,higher family income,higher family assets,and more borrowing behaviors and larger loan demand.(4)the farmers and its loan decision-making behavior is related to the level of professionalism and household characteristics of variable(whether village cadres)and characterization of farm households characteristics variables(apple planting area)affects the peasant household borrowing decision-making behavior,and the head of the household characteristics of variable(householder age)and characterization of farm households characteristics variables(family assets)negative influence the decision-making behavior of peasant household borrowing;The professional level of farmers,lending things to others,years of education,family population,family dependency ratio,land management area,apple planting area and family income all positively affect the loan demand of farmers.Variables affecting farmers choose formal financial borrowing a farmers’ professional level,age,head of the household land management area,lend things to others,and whether to join the cooperatives,among them,the farmers’ professional level,householder age,whether to join the cooperatives is a negative impact,land management area,and lend things to other people’s positive influence.(5)The professionalism of farmers has a positive effect on the occurrence of decision-making behavior and the increase of loan demand of farmers,which will prevent farmers from borrowing through formal financial institutions to a certain extent.Based on the conclusions and theories related to rural financial market,the following policy Suggestions are put forward from the perspectives of the government,Banks and other relevant financial institutions and individual farmers :(1)to improve the financial market and strengthen policy guidance;(2)Improve the credit loan review system;(3)Optimize credit products and services;(4)Establish a diversified formal financial service system;(5)Pay attention to the application of differentiated pricing strategy;(6)Overcome narrow thinking and strengthen professional quality.
