Since the end of the 20 th century, under the dual effects of globalization and technological innovation, renewing the competitive advantage of enterprises has replaced the sustainable competitive advantage as the prerequisite for the company's long-term development(Corbett and Covin et al.,2013).Recognizing the need to renew the competitive advantage of enterprises, managers and management researchers have focused on how to implement entrepreneurial processes within established organizations(Covin and Slevi,2002).Corporate entrepreneurship has become a major strategy for all types of organizations(Ireland and Covin et al.,2009).Corporate entrepreneurship is the process of discovering and evaluating entrepreneurial opportunities, and finally transforming them into market value(Zhai and Su,2016).Opportunity for entrepreneurship is a necessary condition for company entrepreneurship,so scholars mostly from the perspective of opportunity to discuss what factors will affect company entrepreneurship, and the institutional environment is one of the factors that have been focused on.The research on the institutional environment and corporate entrepreneurship mainly focuses on the regulatory role of the institutional environment, and few studies explain the process of the institutional environment affecting corporate entrepreneurship from the cognitive process. Therefore, based on the identity theory and entrepreneurial opportunity theory, this article mainly discusses the role of social norms and cultural values in the institutional environment, and discusses its role in corporate entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurial self-identity is used as a mediating variable, and the managerial ties is used as a moderating variable. In this paper,a moderating mediating model is constructed, which completely explains the process of the institutional environment affecting corporate entrepreneurship. The research results in this paper find that the three dimensions of the institutional environment—the cognitive environment and the normative environment can influence the corporate entrepreneurship by promoting the identity of entrepreneurs, but the regulatory environment cannot influence the entrepreneurship of a company through this mechanism. This paper also verifies the moderating role of managerial ties between entrepreneurial identity and corporate entrepreneurship. When the manager's social relationship is strong, the entrepreneur's identity can better promote the company's entrepreneurship;conversely, when the manager's social relationship is weak, the relationship between the entrepreneur's identity and the company's entrepreneurship is weak.In general, this paper organically unifies the institutional environment, managers, managerial ties, and corporate entrepreneurial by testing a moderated mediation model. The company entrepreneurial process is described as the manager internalizes the social expectations and values in the institutional environment into his own entrepreneurial self-identity,and then seeks entrepreneurship in the managerial ties in the process of verifying his identity to promote corporate entrepreneurship. It is a more complete process model that explains company entrepreneurship.
