Abstract/Summary:
This thesis aims to further investigate the connections between architecture and education. The goal is to explore building practices that increase awareness of our relationship with, and effect on nature. Using a decommissioned power plant in Edmonton, Alberta as a model, this thesis asks the question 'How can sustainable architecture be used as a pedagogical tool for public education?'.
