Abstract/Summary:
A particular method for researching choral repertoire is to explore current lists of choral works specific to the texts for which they are set. There is an apparent need for an inventory of choral settings of the world's most popular poets. This project provides a current listing of selected published and unpublished choral works set to the texts of Robert Frost. It is intended to serve as a resource for musicians searching for such works to serve both performance and research related purposes. Annotations provide information concerning the included works, as well as important performance-related information, such as timings, range, and difficulty levels. Appendices for cross-referencing purposes list the works according to specific subject matter, such as organization of ensemble structure and text. Also, information concerning the publishers and distributors of included works is listed in an appendix.
