| It is important for developers to have a test environment in which to test up and coming network communication strategies. Communication algorithms continue to push the boundaries of what our technology can handle. There are various approaches to solving this problem, including large physical structures, emulated network structures that further stretch the limitations of physical systems, and finally pure simulation which focuses on the scalability of test systems. The goal of the work outlined in this paper was to develop a means for using both simulation and emulation to achieve the accuracy, scalability and speed needed to keep up with the ever improving network technologies. |
