Abstract/Summary:
There have been many studies of who buys organic foods, but few have addressed the relationship between organic food consumption and political ideology. This paper examines how price differentials between organic and non organic food affect organic food consumption, and explores the link between political ideology and organic consumption. Data was collected from surveys that were distributed to approximately 300 consumers in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the Winter of 2010.
