| XML is becoming an increasingly popular format for data exchange. Over the past decade many products have emerged to aid professionals in the field of Computer Science in harnessing the full potential of XML. However, very few products exist that allow laymen to walk up and use XML to their advantage. Of the products in existence, none are prepared to offer support to the future face of the internet: XHTML.; SpeedXML is a software program designed to provide an end-user with the ability to acquire knowledge from XML documents without having to learn a computer language or any technical jargon. SpeedXML presents the structure of an XML document visually and provides the functionality of creating a variety of queries in a step by step process. SpeedXML requires little setup, is easy to use, and reduces interdependence of XML knowledge acquisition with Relational Databases. SpeedXML displays a great potential to increase the use of XML in multiple markets. |
