Abstract/Summary:
This research presents the internal quality audits deployments status in the FDA regulated industries within Puerto Rico. The purpose of the investigation is to determine the effect of the internal quality audits for enable corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvements as an alternative to reduce operational cost and improve quality. The hypothesis proved in the investigation is that internal quality audit in the FDA regulated industries within Puerto Rico have an effect for enable corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvements.;The approach of this investigation is based on a qualitative and subjective data obtained from a survey distributed in FDA regulated industries employees in all Puerto Rico. A 98% of the participants consider that internal quality audits can increase the quality of the company Quality Management System and a 69% of the participant thinks that can help reduce operational cost.
