This project evaluated the business plan and start-up process of a new medical laser company in a small midwestern community. A review of literature was conducted that examined resources drawn from the aesthetic industry, various business models, risk management principles, and strategic planning. Using the information that merged from the literature, the start-up business was then evaluated. The project concludes that while many of the basic elements were present in the thought processes and implementation of the new business, in the end the primary elements of marketing were ignored, resulting in a need for adjustments. |
